1st day: Ljubljana
Arrival in Ljubljana, the capital city of Slovenia. Ljubljana is political and cultural center of Slovenia. Both its residents and numerous visitors perceive Ljubljana as a city built on human scale. It is known for its university population and green spaces, including expansive Tivoli Park. The curving Ljubljanica River, lined in outdoor cafes, divides the city´s old town from its commercial hub. Guided tour of the city, hotel accommodation, dinner and overnight.
2nd day: Zagreb
After breakfast departure to Zagreb, the capital city of Croatia, political, diplomatic, economic and cultural center of the country. Zagreb is rich in decorated and elegant palaces. With its population of nearly one million, contains almost a quarter of the entire population of Croatia. Guided tour of the city, lunch in a restaurant. Return to Ljubljana. Dinner and overnight.
3rd day: Postojna Cave
After breakfast departure for Postojna cave, which for the last two centuries has attracted masses of visitors from all over the world. The cave has always been a challenge for explorers who, stepping into the subsoil progressed with patience and perseverance more and more deeply to discover cave secrets. The cave is about 20 km long, full of stalagmites and stalactites, and is the only cave in the world that can be visited by train. Lunch in a restaurant. Return to Ljubljana. Dinner and overnight.
4th day: Bled
After breakfast departure to Lake Bled. Bled with its surroundings and its natural beauties is one of the most beautiful alpine resorts that stands out because of its mild and beneficial climate for health and thermal water of the lake. Visit the island and the church. Lunch. Free time. Return to Ljubljana. Dinner and overnight.
5th day: Rijeka-Opatija
After breakfast departure to Opatija and Rijeka. In Rijeka visit to Trsat – the ancient medieval fortress and the wreath that contains numerous secrets and precious monuments. At Trsat, which rises on a height of 135m, is the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary, which has been a place of worship and gathering of the pilgrims for several centuries. This is Marian sanctuary, the oldest pilgrimage site in Croatia, where Madonna has always been honored. Despite the various changes that happened throughout history, this sanctuary has never fallen into disrepair. Lunch in a restaurant. Guided tour of Opatija, pleasant and lively resort in the Kvarner Gulf, a few kilometers from Rijeka. This town boasts a centuries-old tourist tradition: once it was a holiday resort of the nobility, of which the magnificent villas remain. It has a particularly mild climate that favors the lush vegetation. Hotel accommodation in Opatija, dinner and overnight stay.
6th day: Rovinj-Porec
After breakfast departure towards Istria. Visit Istrian most popular places; Rovinj and Porec. Porec is an excellent example of a Romanesque city with magnificent Venetian Gothic palaces and its Euphrasian basilica. Rovinj is located on a peninsula. The church of Santa Eufemia is the largest and most important monument in the city. Lunch in the restaurant during the trip. Return to Opatija in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay.
7th day: Italy
After breakfast departure to home.
